Aberdeen Council of Voluntary Organisations - Funding Briefings

These briefings are aimed at the volunteers, committee members or staff of voluntary or community groups in Aberdeen.  They aim to help people who not really consider themselves to be fundraisers, but have either been landed with the job of raising money or, as committee members, have a responsibility for managing fundraising, like it or not.

These notes are intended to compliment ACVO's other funding advice services such as access to FunderFinder; one-to-one advice sessions; workshop facilitation and will I hope come to be used in support of a fundraising training programme.

Future briefings will look at the scope of funding sources, making the case for support; building a Fundraising Strategy; where else to go for advice and help on income generation, media relations and fundraising; standards in fundraising etc.  Your feedback will always be appreciated.  Best of luck and happy fundraising!
