EPILEPSY and the ADMINISTRATION of RESCUE MEDICATIONS

Description
|
To consolidate the training in relation to epilepsy and the administration of rescue medications a variety of dates and venues in 2008 have been arranged for service providers.
The training covers:
A basic knowledge of epilepsy, Recognition the most common types of seizures An understanding of basic first aid of seizures Recording on the clients individual care plan Safe administer rescue medication when required An understanding of the importance of recording clients seizures and rescue medication Please note - while the course is free there will be a charge of £15 per person if attendees do not advise of cancellations prior to the event.
