Aberdeen & District Disabled Multisports Coaching Group

Registered Charity No: SC037453 Aberdeen & District Disabled Multisports Coaching Group We are a group of coached who would like to give something back to sport. We are all school checked and volunteers and do not charge for our time. We want to coach disabled and non-disabled children (from nursery to primary 7 during the school day) and adults with the aim to get people into sport and get fit.
We can offer coaching in lots of different sports such as Boccia, Bowling, New Age Curling, Athletics, Archery, Table Tennis, Football, Basketball, Volleyball etc. We can come along and give taster sessions.
Our object is to try to improve the condition of life and advancing the health of disabled, non-disabled children and adults in Aberdeen and the North-East of Scotland by enabling them to participate more fully in the development of the community. The provision of sports coaching is to benefit physical and psychological health and promoting opportunities for disabled athletes to pursue Coaching Qualifications. We are also working in partnership with other organisations to promote these aims. We wish to provide the opportunities for disabled and non-disabled athletes to participate equally in sporting events at home and abroad. We also take disabled adults to Stravanger in Norway to compete in the Nordic Games. they are also in the process of arranging to take under 16 disabled children to Norway and other qualifications.
