Children & Young Peoples Services (Voluntary Sector) - Getting It Right

Children & Young People (Voluntary Sector)

'Getting It Right'

In Aberdeen the Voluntary Organisations, Health, Police and local authority are committed to improving services and outcomes for children, young people and families. To achieve this we know that everyone involved with children and young people need to work collaboratively. The National Framework encourages us to work together to ensure no gaps exist and that we all Get It Right 'For Scotland's Children'. The local plan for Aberdeen is Integrated Childrens Service Plan 2008-09.

A number of groups are involved in the planning for CYP services in Aberdeen. These are listed below.

  • CYP Strategic Planning Group
Aberdeen’s Children and Young People’s Strategic Planning Group ( CYPSPG) is the high level, multi-agency planning group which has the responsibility for the strategic planning and monitoring of services for children and young people, on behalf of the Community Planning Partnership.
