Aberdeen's Third Sector Jigsaw

Mapping the Third Sector in Aberdeen

The purpose of the Third Sector Mapping is to enable ACVO and community planning partners to have a better understanding of the 'Volume and Value' of the Third Sector in Aberdeen. It is envisaged that with this information we may be able to increase connectivity within the Third Sector and also with Community Planning Partners and others, in order to work together and meet the challenges in Aberdeen.  From April 2010 ACVO will be the single interface in Aberdeen. This interface will enable the community planning partners and others to have productive dialogue directly with the Third Sector ie Voluntary Organisations, Charities, Community Groups, Volunteers and Social Enterprises via ACVO.

This Third Sector Jigsaw Mapping has received support from Aberdeen Community Safety Partnership.
