Home-Start Aberdeen operates a weekly group in Kincorth every Thursday during Term-time, from 12.30pm to 2.30 pm.

Who Can Go?

Any Home-Start parent and child/ren under 5 years old. You can continue to attend as long as the Co-ordinators feel you need support or until your youngest child is 5, whichever is soonest.


Who Can Attend?

Parents who we think will benefit from meeting with other parents and learning new skills especially parenting, confidence building and craft work.


What Happens at the Group?

Some weeks there will be speakers such as the Fire Brigade, Health Visitor etc. Some weeks there will be activities such as craft work, cooking, keep fit etc.

All the activities, talks etc. are chosen by the members of the group so are always of interest.

How Much Does it Cost?

There is a charge of 50p per family which covers refreshments for parents and a snack for the children.

The group undertakes fundraising to help meet the cost of special events.
