Donating to Home-Start Aberdeen enables us to support local families. Each Home-Start scheme is locally funded (click here to view our latest Accounts). Home-Start Aberdeen needs funding to maintain and develop our work with local families. At present, approximately 50% of our funding comes from Aberdeen City Council and:

The lottery funding is £114,764 paid over three years. |
 |
Fairer Scotland Funding is £16,398 (April 2010-March 2011) for dedicated work with Torry and Northfield families. |
 |
We are presently trying to raise funds to enable us to employ an additional co-ordinator. |
To offer a local, quality service we constantly need to raise additional funds. We have been delighted with the support we have received from companies and trusts both locally and nationally.
Home-Start Aberdeen believes that parents play the key role in ensuring children have a happy and secure childhood, but even the most dedicated parents can face challenges that prevent them doing all they want for their children.
Home-Start Aberdeen helps families to achieve their full potential by offering a unique service of friendly, informal and confidential support to parents who are experiencing a variety of difficulty, including: isolation, family crisis, stress and relationship breakdown.
Your donation will make a difference to the lives of families who will benefit from our extended service and support.
