had to lock their toilets. Radar keys can be bought
from Aberdeen City Council, Environmental
and Consumer Protection Services, 4th Floor St
Nicholas House, Broad Street, Aberdeen, AB10 1BX,
Tel: 523440 A full list of locations for the toilets covered

Blue Badge

The Blue Badge Scheme of parking concessions is
designed to allow people who have great difficulty
walking to park close to shops, public buildings,
stations and numerous other places, and to
park in spaces that would otherwise be barred
by parking restrictions. You can apply for a
Badge if you are either the driver or a passenger
(who is at least 2 years old), and your disability
affects your capacity to walk any distance.
If you are receiving the Higher rate of the mobility
component of Disability Living Allowance
or are registered blind you would qualify.

OUCH – BBC

Ouch! is a website from the BBC that reflects the lives
and experiences of Disabled people. It has articles,
blogs, a very busy messageboard and an award-winning
downloadable radio show - The Ouch Podcast.
It's aimed at those with a stakehold in Disability -Family,
Friends, Professionals and, rather importantly, Disabled
people themselves - without whom all this
would be a bit meaningless. www.bbc.co.uk/ouch
