Funding Description Through the Helping You Help Others programme, Macmillan, the national charity supporting people living with cancer, is inviting new cancer self help and support groups across the UK to apply for start up grants of up to £500 to help with their initial development and promotion of service such as promotional costs; printing (leaflets, stationary, newsletters etc.); postage; venue hire; refreshments costs; and speaker fees, etc. Applications for start-up grants are accessed on a monthly basis.

Macmillan are also inviting existing groups to apply for grants of up to £3,000 for their continuing development, for activities such as; away days; speaker''s fees and associated costs such as travel; and the purchase of group resources such as computers, laptops and display materials for use at information days.
