| Funding Description |
There are two funding schemes - Community Awards and Larger Grants. The Community Awards scheme gives grants of between £500 and £4,000 to local community groups in areas around Tesco stores. There are two rounds of funding every year for each category. Applications for children's education and welfare grants should be made between 1st December and 31st January, or between 1st May and 30th June. Grants for elderly people and adults and children with disabilities are open between 1st February and 31st March and between 1st August and 30th September. Larger Grants are available to charities working on an international, national or regional basis and are for between £4,000 and £25,000. Applications are considered three times a year. |
